If that is the case, you are already going to feel a lot safer in that vehicle.

Then you will need to make sure that you have prepared properly in terms of all events. So you want your emergency kit, extra food, a first aid box, a torch and other supplies that might become necessary in such an occasion. As long as you have all that, you are going to feel and be a lot safer whatever happens on your trip.

Of course, you should also take great care when you are driving to drive safely, so that you keep your family safe this way as well.

Some people like to write a journal, and given that you might have a lot of hours on the road, this is something you might want to do, or encourage your kids to do, as a means of recording the experience. At other times you might prefer to take photographs, and you could even take a drone from DrDrone.ca to use when you are parked up somewhere beautiful and you want to record the amazing scenes.

Of course, you can also video occasionally, though you might want to keep it brief if you are not to annoy your kids! As long as you document the journey in some way, however, you’ll find this does generally add to the fun, so it’s something that you should think about.
