Make a Homemade Valentine's Day Card with your Kids

Are you looking for a fun way to make homemade Valentine's Day cards for kids?

When it comes to Valentine's Day, we love to have fun with making Valentine's Day cards as well as buying some for our kids friends for their parties at school. We also buy bags of candy for them to take.

This year, our 11 year old daughter wanted to make a handful of homemade Valentine's Day cards for friends and family as part of this post and she did, and put their name on the opposite side of the heart that says Happy Valentine's Day on it.

What was bought for this post:
- Pack of construction paper
- Scissors
- Pen

We used a regular size pair of scissors and some light pink and red/white construction paper, and of course a pen to write with. This was pretty fun to do because for friends at school, they usually do store bought but this year we couldn't find any that were good for her age so she did her own, and I am sure her friends will like them on Friday when she takes them in!
