Are you looking for a fun activity to do with your kids?
When it comes to DIY crafts, I try to do my best although I'm not very crafty. Especially with this activity I was asked to do which was a fun one with our 10 year old daughter!
This is the video that I used to follow instructions to make this mask, aside from string that we couldn't find the right sizing for.
What you'll need that I used for this project:
- Green felt
- Green construction paper
- Yellow construction paper
- Sharpie marker
- Glue
- Scissors
When it comes to instructions, I used all they said except for a hole puncher and I used dark green construction paper instead of felt, just to do it a little differently, and it turned out well.
Below, you can see that I traced what I thought it should look like to make an Angry Birds pig mask, based on what the video told me to do drawing wise onto the felt, and then I cut it all out carefully.
Then, I cut out the eyes, so that they'd fit at her eyes, and I also cut out the shapes for pig ears and nose too, and glued it onto the mask. I also drew a crown and cut it out, and glued it.
And, the end product is a mask and she enjoyed helping me make it. When you need some craft and office supplies, be sure to check the website Office and Crafts for your needs!
