Give Your Baby the Best with the Ashton 5 in 1 Convertible Crib, Espresso

*Disclaimer - I received the product in this post from Dream On Me, in order to facilitate this review.

Are you looking for a crib that will be all that your child needs for a bed?

Our baby girl is due in September and I am thrilled to be able to use this crib for her. I have always wanted a 5 in 1 crib that will allow you to use it as a crib for baby age, toddler bed for once they grow out of the crib, a daybed, and full-size bed. This brand has great quality products and they are all priced very reasonably as well.

Of course, you will need to buy a conversion kit for the other beds but only need this as the frame which is awesome and will save you money in the long-run. It saves you time, money, and room by having a crib like this where it's the only bed you'll need for your child.

Our oldest son helped me put this together so of course, it took a bit to put it together.

We put the sides together and then the next piece we did was the bar that you attach the hooks in place with the tools provided and it'll be secure and is for laying the crib mattress down into.  This took him and I a few minutes to get put together. It was easy to get in place once I held it still for him to use the tool for tightening it in each spot.

The mattress is also a Dream On Me brand that I bought it prior to this post. All of the tools that you need to assemble this crib are included with the crib in the box.

He was very excited to be able to help me put the crib together for his baby sister to be. He is like his dad and loves to build things as he can and help put things together, as well as fix things. He was definitely a huge help when it came to helping me get this beautiful crib put together.

The crib is in the corner of our room, so it's got plenty of space still between our bed and the crib.

You can find this beautiful Ashton 5 in 1 Convertible Crib, Espresso, on Amazon and many other retailers. On Amazon, right now it's just $129.99 which is a great price! I absolutely love the espresso color, it goes well with the dresser she will be using.

Prior to putting the front of the crib on, I let our two-year-old lay down on it as if it were being used as a toddler bed since she's in a twin size bed regularly. She seemed to like it and sat there for a bit. Here is what it looks like without the front panel and without a conversion kit.

Here's the crib without the mattress in it yet, just so you can see how it's supposed to look.

Here is the crib with the mattress inside of it in place.

I absolutely love how well put together, in general, this crib is, and it has a gorgeous color with the espresso, but this crib does come in multiple colors as well in case you don't want an espresso color for the crib.

  4. We are starting to think about cribs over here. However, we do have a pack and play and feel we may just wind up using that as a crib until it's time to move to a bed. For now my son sleeps in a basket because he hasn't quite outgrown that one yet!
