Are you a mom and are tired of cleaning the litter box 3 or more times a day?
I'm a mom of four and have three cats, so the last thing I want to be spending my time doing is having to clean our cats' litter box 3 - 4x a day every day. It's not only annoying, but it's very time consuming as all cat owners who have indoor cats know.
I was really excited when I was told that I could work with Litter Robot for a review of the Litter Robot III Open Air with Connect.
I wasn't really sure how big this unit was going to be, but according to a friend it would be BIG, so I cleared space in our laundry room where I had the two litter boxes at, so I had room and a place to plug into the outlet so it works.
Here is what the inside of the Litter Robot III Open Air Connect looks like before you put any litter in it. I absolutely LOVE my Litter Robot and will never go back to scooping up litter again. I have had this about one month now and it's been great so far.
Located on the back of the unit is this, so make sure it looks like this before using it.
Once you add any brand of litter - MAKE SURE it is clumping litter or it will not work correctly.
The way that it works is a really neat concept to me as a cat owner. Once you turn the power button on and add your cat litter in the new Litter Robot, when a cat 5 lbs or more enters it will know and once the cat exists the robot, it'll know and it starts the cycle portion of the unit. In the dark, it'll light up blue like pictured below.
It'll sift the litter and rotate in a circular motion and separate the clumped dirty litter from the clean litter and will push the dirty litter into the bottom where it'll fall into a provided Litter Robot bag you put in place in the bottom tray. All three of our cats took well to the unit pretty quickly on the day I opened it and set it up.
I only have to empty the bag and replace with a new one about TWICE a week! Once you run out of the provided bags, just use a regular kitchen trash bag to put under the unit, and empty it as needed.
I am a Doggie Lover, but this sounds like a great Xmas gift for all the kittie fur mom friends in my life! :-)

I have 2 cats at home and hate cleaning litter boxes. This sounds amazing!
