American Girl created the WellieWishers doll line in 2016 that is geared towards younger girls, and I love those! They are too cute to not buy and are 14.5" in size, which are perfect for younger kids. It was one of my Top Toys this year and I know you'd love it too.
As a mother, the thing that I love about Ashlyn and that I use her for in particular with our daughter is to show our her that in any given situation even just having a simple task of playing with her can help her day go better in many ways, and keep a smile on her face, and encourage her friends as well.
About WellieWishers Doll, Ashlyn:
Ashlyn is a princess in training (as well as a party-planner extraordinaire). She is sure to turn any frown upside down to a big smile.
So far, we have Ashlyn and you can purchase her directly on the American Girl website. They have many accessories, dolls, and clothes to choose from on their website so you'll have to check it out when you see about their WellieWishers line of dolls.
She just loves her new doll, Ashlyn and plays with her often with her other American Girl doll that she has. This doll is amazing is every way and is especially great for younger kids. Her hair is just perfect and flows well with her shape of the face as well.
She likes to take her places where we go, so she has traveled several places so far in just the last five days she's had her! It's fun to put her in the carseat beside our daughter and buckle her up, and she likes to tell her let's go!
Our daughter does great with both of the American Girl dolls she has, and takes very good care of them too. The one thing that stands out to me about Ashlyn is her beautiful long silky brown hair. Believe it or not, her hair can be brushed and styled by your daughter.
Ashlyn is adorable! My daughter was an American Girl fan and she is 26th now. She still has her doll (packed away)! They're classic dolls that bring so much joy to young kids.
