When you have kids, sometimes it's hard to keep them occupied especially in the summer months when school is out.
What do you do activity wise with your kids during the summer?
For our older kids, they have a local park program they go to during the week for a few hours each day. They are with kids from school and there are adults to facilitate the activities too. They LOVE it! We usually go earlier than the time it starts so that our two year old can play for a bit before we walk back home until time to go pick them back up.
5 Activities to Do During the Summer with Kids:
1. Check with your local town / city and see if they have a park program for school age kids.
2. Go to the park and play for awhile and have a nice picnic lunch with your kids. Kids love going to the park to play.
3. Go for a nice long walk and enjoy the summer breeze and stop for a break and drink water.
4. Head to the pool and go swimming for a few hours! Every child or most kids love to swim.
5. Do some crafts if your kids enjoy being creative and have fun with it.
